Computer Classes

The library offers free instructor led classes on a variety of software and technology to the community.  Registration is required due to limited seating.  Classes offered vary, but topics include:

Intro to Android Tablets – Bring your own Android Tablet and learn hands on how to do basic operations.

Intro to iPad – Bring your own iPad and learn the basics.

iPad II – Explore the Photos and Mail apps and dig a little deeper into what your iPad can do. Bring your own iPad.

Computer Basics: Mouse & Internet –  Learn how to use a mouse and do simple searches on the internet. No computer experience is necessary.

Microsoft Word Basics –  Learn the basics of word processing including formatting and spell check.

Microsoft Word II – Build on the skills learned in Microsoft Word Basics and learn about cut, copy, and paste. Pre-requisite Microsoft Word Basics.

File Management – Learn how to move files between folders and save to a USB drive and a CD.

Google Docs – Edit a document with this free online word processor. A Gmail/Google account is required.

Email Account Set Up – Sign up for a 15 minute one-on-one session and get your own email account.
